Job summary

E.S. Wagner Co., LLC is seeking an experienced Pipe Layer for Underground Utilities and/or Storm Drain to join our Shelby, NC team.

This role supports grading, pipe installation, cutting, connecting pieces, and ensuring joints are properly sealed as part of complex civil projects. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of pipe experience, demonstrate safe operation of hand tools, and can work in a production environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years pipe experience.
• Demonstrate safe and proficient operation of hand tools in a production work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled tasks in grading and pipe installation operations.
• Cut pipes to required lengths, align pieces and seal joints.
• Use tools such as shovel, broom, pick, hammer, saw, concrete saw, etc.
• Unload, load and maintain all tools and equipment needed for daily tasks.
