Job summary

Archer Western Construction is currently seeking a Pipe Layer for the WEGA/Hard Labor Creek, in Social Circle, GA. The Pipe Layer will perform pipe-laying tasks involving physical labor (laying, joining, wrapping, sealing) on construction jobsites including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects; may operate hand and/or power tools as needed; may prepare site and assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1 Year Verifiable Experience Preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and follow safety policies

Responsibilities

• Lays, joins, aligns, wraps, and seals pipe sections for water/gas main and sewer lines
• Operate hand and power tools as directed by management
• Perform tasks involving physical labor as instructed by supervisor
