Job summary

Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. (ESS) is seeking an experienced Pipe Layer to join our underground utility construction team. You will install water, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage systems on heavy civil projects, and work in trenches, setting pipe to grade.

Travel to Broken Arrow, OK is required on a frequent basis. The role requires physical fitness to lift up to 50 pounds, basic math, and the ability to read specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in construction or related industry preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in all weather conditions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Install underground water, sewer, and storm drain pipe per specs and grade.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Pipe Layer to join our underground utility construction team. This position is responsible for the installation of water, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage systems on heavy civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working in trenches, setting pipe to grade, and safely installing underground utilities. Must be willing to travel - can expect to travel to Broken Arrow, OK frequently.

Responsibilities

• Install underground water, sewer, and storm drain pipe in accordance with project specifications and grade requirements
• Assist with general construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, digging trenches, and operating hand and power tools
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other construction staff to ensure project success
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in construction practices
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in construction or related industry preferred
