Job summary

Royal-American-Construction is hiring a pipefitter/installer to lay underground piping and connect buildings to water, sewer, and stormwater systems. You will read site plans and ensure proper grade, joining, and backfill.

Role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, ladder work, outdoor duties in variable weather, and operation of power tools and laser alignment equipment. Driver's license preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year pipelaying experience in construction.
• Ability to read and interpret site plans.

Summary:This position is responsible for installing underground piping to connect buildings and building sites to water supplies, sewers, and stormwater management systems. Must have knowledge of excavation, alignment of pipe, establishing and maintaining proper grade, proper joining of pipes and proper backfill procedures. Typical schedules are Monday Friday, with weekends required as needed.Incumbent is expected to have excellent attendance and communication skills, possess the ability to build lasting business relationships, and exhibit professionalism.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:This is a description of the major responsibilities of this position.
