Qualifications

• Expérience préalable en pose de tuyaux exigée.

Job description

Abernethy Contracting is seeking an experienced Pipe Layer. In this role, Pipe Layer will lay storm, water, and sewer pipe.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set pipe laser and maintain grade.
• Comply with all company and site-specific policies and procedures.
• Work in unison with lead operator and communicate needs clearly.
• Maintain equipment in good operating condition and reporting of maintenance requirements.
• May perform other job site duties as required based on job site needs.
• Respect and follow leadership and directions from assigned foreman.
• Treat co-workers, subcontractors and customers with respect and professionalism.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience laying pipe.
• Competency in setting pipe laser and maintaining grade.
• Sense of urgency and ability to respond to changing situations.
• Ability to adapt, prioritize and complete projects in a changing construction environment.
• Commitment to safe work practices.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Have the ability to travel within 60-75 miles of greater Charlotte Metro Area.
• Must pass a pre-employment background screening.
