Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Field Insulator to install pipe insulation and jacketing on active construction sites, ensuring energy efficiency and compliance with technical specs.

You will read drawings, cut and fit insulation, and use tools like bending brakes and band saws, with travel requiring 10-day tours and long shifts. Candidates should have at least 2 years of insulation experience, pass background checks, and lift up to 75 pounds, working in extreme temperatures

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial pipe insulation.
• Proficient with installation of aluminum and/or PVC jacketing.
• Understanding of insulation materials and moisture barrier systems.
• Ability to read insulation schematics and technical documentation.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• No DUIs within the past 5 years.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively (10-day tours with 10-12 hour shifts).
• Able to work in extreme temperatures while wearing full PPE.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise).
• Must have the physical stamina to perform repetitive motions and remain on feet for most of the shift.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination sufficient to operate tools accurately and safely.
