Job summary

Alliance Construction, based in Sioux Falls, seeks energetic individuals to install underground utilities. Training will be provided to the right candidates. We value hard work, reliability and a winning mindset, with opportunities for growth and local family-style teamwork.

Typical tasks include digging trenches, using surveying tools, aligning pipes, and performing general labor to support pipeline construction projects. CDL is not required to apply.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Positive energy and a winning attitude.
• Clear communication and strong organization.

Responsibilities

• Dig trenches for and around existing utilities.
• Use instruments such as lasers, grade rods, or transit level.
• Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction (wet utilities water/sewer).
• Grade and level trench bases, using tamping machine and hand tools.
• Check slopes to requirements, using levels or lasers.
• Connect pipes and seal joints using glue, cement, gaskets and/or flanges.
• Cover pipes with other earth materials/aggregates.
• Other general labor and construction related duties.
