Zachry Underground and Utility Services, Inc. is seeking a Pipe Foreman to lead a crew on drainage and underground utilities projects. You will plan work, supervise installation, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence in a heavy civil context.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of supervisory experience, strong knowledge of pipe materials, and the ability to coordinate with project teams. This field role requires outdoor work and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of heavy civil construction experience with drainage structures and utilities.
• Proven supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of pipe types, installation methods, soil mechanics, and excavation procedures.
• Familiarity with GPS, robotics, and technical survey systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct crew activities to meet production goals while maintaining quality and safety.
• Read blueprints and reports to track progress and resolve material discrepancies.
• Supervise installation of pipe materials (RCP, HDPE, PVC, duct) and associated structures.
• Oversee excavation, grading, and concrete work with proper shoring and laser setup.
• Train and mentor crew on safe work practices and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, timekeeping, and equipment logs.
• Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to align schedules and resources.
• Enforce safety policies through toolbox talks and field supervision.
