Job summary

MSS Solutions, LLC is seeking a Foreman - Mechanical to lead the layout, assembly, and installation of mechanical piping and duct systems at project sites. The role includes supervising crews, ensuring safety, and helping complete projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial sheet metal or mechanical piping experience.
• 1+ year of supervisory experience.
• Clear communication with Superintendent and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to arrive on time, in uniform, and ready to work.
• Successful background check and drug test required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the lay out, assembly and installation of piping and duct systems at job sites.
• Support the Superintendent to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Test mechanical systems to ensure safety and functionality.
• Observe and report unsafe work environments and correct them.
• Other duties as assigned by the company.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Supervise the lay out, assembly and installation of various sizes and types of mechanical piping and/or sheet metal duct systems at job site locations
• Support the Superintendent to complete the project on time, safely and on (or under) budget
• Testing mechanical systems to ensure safety and functionality
• Observe, report and correct unsafe work environments
• Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company from time to time.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 5 Years of commercial sheet metal or mechanical piping experience
• 1+ year of supervisory experience
• Ability to communicate clearly with Superintendent and follow direction
• Ability to show up on time, ready to work and in uniform
• Must successfully pass a background check & drug test.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Physical Demands: Occasional sitting, frequent stooping, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and climbing. Constant standing, walking, reaching and gripping. Vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to talk and hear. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (maximum solo lift) and constant lifting to 25 lbs., placing this position in the very heavy physical demand classification (PDC).
• Material Handling:? lifting from floor level to overhead, with occasional lifting up to 115 lbs. frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. and constant lifting up to 25 lbs., placing the position in the very heavy physical demand classification (PDC).?

Work Environment: Exposure to weather, extreme heat or cold, high noise intensity level, atmospheric conditions, exposure to electrical shock, exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals, wet and/or humid, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, working high exposure places.
