Job summary

Optimized Process Designs LLC (OPD), a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks a Pipe Foreman for field leadership on Baytown projects. The role emphasizes pipefitting expertise, team supervision, and strict safety adherence on active job sites in the oil/gas sector.

Expect travel to remote sites, 12-hour shifts, and the need to train crew members while coordinating with the superintendent on material needs and NDE scheduling. OPD values safety, teamwork, and performance.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a pipefitter.
• Must be a role model for safety.
• Willing to travel with extended periods away from home.
• Able to attend and/or lead employee safety meetings.
• Able to work shifts up to 12 hours per day and 7 days per week.
• Must be able to meet all physical demands of the job.

The jobsite located in Baytown II, TX has an opening for a Pipe Foreman.

What You Will Do

Some core responsibilities for a Pipefitter Foreman include

Some Physical Demands Of Being a Pipefitter Foreman Include

• Capable of working in outdoor weather and environmental conditions including extreme heat and humidity, extreme cold, and high elevations.
• Lifting and carrying awkward objects up to 60 lbs
• Standing for extended periods of time up to 12 hours per day.
• Moving the entire body. Considerable use of arms, legs, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, crawling, twisting, reaching, and bending on a regular basis.
• Use hands to handle, control, and feel objects and/or tools.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• At least 3 years of experience as a pipefitter
• Must be a role model for safety

• Must be able to work shifts up to 12 hours per day and 7 days per week

What Will Put You Ahead

• Previous experience in a gas plant construction environment
• At least one year of previous experience as a pipefitter foreman
• At least 5 years of previous experience as a pipefitter
• Previous experience being a leader in safety
• Previous experience leading small teams of 10-25 people
