Job summary

Reeves Young in Nashville, TN seeks a Full Time Manual Labor technician to support the installation of mechanical equipment and piping in water and wastewater projects. You will read conformed drawings, set up installations, and ensure proper alignment and leveling using levels or lasers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret plans.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for 4-hour periods of time.
• Knowledge of materials, methods and tools for installing mechanical equipment/systems in water/wastewater plants.
• Ability to secure equipment and piping with clamps, brackets, and hangers using hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark installation areas according to drawings.
• Check slopes for conformance using levels or lasers.
• Install lubricants, seals, gaskets, and related components for equipment operation.
• Secure equipment and piping to structures as required.
• Read and interpret plans for project installation requirements.
