Healing Strides Counseling seeks an experienced Mechanical Pipefitter for commercial/industrial projects in the Greensboro area. You will install, assemble, and maintain piping for HVAC, steam, and process systems, read blueprints, and ensure code compliance.

The role requires 3+ years of pipefitting experience, ability to read isometrics, and familiarity with various piping materials. Pro-Press/Mega-Press experience is a plus, with weekly pay and health insurance options provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical pipefitting experience (commercial/industrial).
• Proficient in blueprint and isometric reading.
• Experience with carbon steel, stainless, copper, and/or PVC piping.
• Knowledge of threading, grooving, and pipe layout.
• Ability to work at heights and lift 50+ lbs.
• Reliable transportation and basic hand tools.
• Pipefitter or steamfitter certification.
• Experience with orbital welding or rigging.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, thread, groove, and fit pipe to required tolerances.
• Install valves, hangers, supports, and related mechanical components.
• Perform hydrostatic or pressure testing of piping systems.
• Coordinate with welders, plumbers, and HVAC trades on site.
• Ensure installations meet mechanical codes and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair piping systems as needed.
• Familiar with Pro-Press and Mega-Press systems.
