Job summary

IPEX is seeking a Machine Operator for our manufacturing site in Mississauga, ON. This role involves cutting and bending pipe based on specifications and is suited for individuals looking to grow within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a strong asset.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety practices is necessary.
• Basic math skills including geometry and fractions.
• Able to solve sophisticated problems using sound problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to multitask, pay close attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan and layout work assignments and accomplish with maximum efficiency.
• Operate cutting saws and automatic/manual pipe bending machines.
• Perform operator quality inspection checks.
• Maintain housekeeping around the area and machines.
• Follow all plant health, safety, environmental and quality policies.
