Job summary

Worley in Baytown, TX is seeking an experienced welder/fabricator for industrial construction and maintenance projects. The role focuses on laying out, aligning and welding components to assemble frames, tanks, vessels and pipe sections in a safety-conscious environment.

You will read blueprints, set up arc or gas welding equipment, and perform repairs to boilers, towers, exchangers, and drums while ensuring quality workmanship and productivity.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in industrial construction/maintenance environments.
• Ability to lay out, align and weld components per blueprints and metallurgy.
• Ability to read and follow project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, align and weld fabrications per blueprints.
• Set up and operate welding equipment for pipe, plate, or structural steel.
• Perform basic piping installations and repairs.
• Assist other mechanics and maintain quality workmanship.
