Job summary

Spectrum Environmental Services, Inc. in Birmingham, Alabama is seeking a Sewer/Storm Pipe CCTV Technician. The role involves operating a camera transporter to inspect sanitary sewer lines and storm pipes, identifying defects and observing pipe integrity. Training is offered for the right candidate.

You will set up the camera daily, lower and lift it in and out of manholes, prepare footage, and maintain equipment, while conforming to safety PPE requirements and company standards.

Qualifications

• Desire to learn the inspection software.
• Understand the inspection process with some proficiency.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to work at heights.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Setting up the camera daily.
• Lowering and lifting the camera /transporter in and out of manholes.
• Setting of the preset footage, cleaning the camera and all associated equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs throughout the day.
• Ability to adhere to all safety precautions and wear proper PPE at all times.
