The University of Kentucky College of Education invites applications for a tenure-eligible Regular Title Series Assistant Professor of Elementary STEM Education with an emphasis in Science Education. This 9-month appointment begins Aug 16, 2027.

The successful candidate will teach a 2-2 course load, develop an active program of research and external funding, and contribute to undergraduate and graduate STEM education programs at UK.

Responsibilities

• Teach two courses each semester (fall and spring) such as SEM328, SEM448, SEM604, SEM613, SEM708.
• Collaborate with school partners.
• Conduct a line of research relevant to the department and university’s mission.
• Seek extramural funding.
• Serve on masters and doctoral committees.
• Provide service to the department, college, university, and profession.
