Job summary

Rite-Hite Company is seeking a pilot to transport company officials domestically and internationally on the company aircraft, in full compliance with FAR Part 91. The role emphasizes safety, planning, and efficient flight operations.

Ideal candidates have multi-engine commercial certification, 3000 hours total flight time with turbine hours, and international experience. G550/G280 ratings are preferred but not required, with up to 75% travel and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a Multi-engine Commercial Pilot Certification.
  • Class I FAA Medical Certificate required.
  • FCC Radio Station License.
  • Current Passport and ability to travel up to 75%.
  • Must lift up to 50 pounds and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the company aircraft in a safe, cost-effective manner in compliance with FAA standards.
  • Conduct pre- and post-flight operations including weather assessment and aircraft readiness.
  • Maintain up-to-date navigation tools, manuals, and performance apps.
  • Schedule and coordinate efficient flight trips and aircraft usage.
  • Assist with hangar and maintenance coordination as needed.
  • Attend initial and recurrent safety and operations training.
  • Complete international paperwork and journey logs per regulations.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This position reports directly to the Director of Aviation. As a pilot you will transport company officials, customers and family members domestically and internationally on the company owned aircraft in a safe and cost-effective manner in compliance with a FAR/CFR Part 91 flight operation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Operate the company aircraft in a safe, cost-effective manner in compliance with FAA standards
  • Conduct pre- and post-flight operations including assessment of weather conditions as well as aircraft readiness.
  • Keep current and up to date tablets, computers and devices, navigation apps, company manuals, aircraft manuals, aircraft performance apps.
  • Command the use of the company aircraft through safe and efficient scheduling and trip planning.
  • This position you will perform general aircraft cleaning, request lav. services when needed, catering and stocking of aircraft stores upon arrival and completions of flights and communicate with the Director of Maintenance or Sr. Maint. Tech and/or Director of Aviation regarding any maintenance discrepancies.
  • Attend Initial and recurrent training events along with continuing education regarding safety enrichment courses, international flight operations and any seminars you feel would help improve safety in the flight department.
  • Daily operations you will be required to fill out aircraft flight logs, manage any/all required international paperwork and journey logs, report and fill out aircraft discrepancy forms and reports to the Director of Maintenance or Sr. Maint. Tech and/or Director of Aviation, follow guidelines set forth by the FAA, LOAs, operation specifications, company policies and procedures.
  • If asked to help maintain aircraft hangar facility as required, ensure doors are secured when leaving and any supplies that may need restocking.
  • If asked, assist the aircraft maintenance department with aircraft run ups if asked while maintenance performs required checks.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Preferred a four B.A. degree
  • Associates degree in a related field
  • 3000 hours total flight time, 1000 turbine and 500 PIC turbine
  • Mid-Cabin to Large Cabin aircraft Experience
  • G550 and/or G280 type rating is preferred but not required
  • International Operational Experience

This role will not have supervisory responsibilities
