Job summary

Pedal Pub Hartford is hiring part-time Pilots/Tour Guides to operate our 15-passenger pedal-powered cycles and lead 2-hour tours, helping passengers celebrate birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, team outings, and group gatherings with energy and safety. We value personality over experience and welcome students, parents, service workers, drivers, and others seeking a flexible summer job.

Nights and weekends are required; this is a tipped position where enthusiasm and reliability boost

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends.
• Must enjoy outdoors and be active.
• Must create and stick to a schedule.

About the Position

We are looking for fun, upbeat people with amazing personalities to join our team! We conduct pub crawls on our 15-passenger pedal-powered cycles. Pilots/Tour Guides are responsible for operating the bikes and leading 2-hour tours while helping passengers celebrate birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, team outings, and friend/family get-togethers. We look for personality more than past experience.

Our pilots come from all walks of life. This is a perfect summer job for students, parents, bartenders, service industry professionals, Uber/Lyft drivers, Amazon shoppers, part time workers, a second job or 9 to 5-ers looking for a change of pace. This is a highly tipped position...the more you put into a tour, the more you get out of it!
