Job summary

The Plex LLC in San Jose, CA seeks a certified Pilates Reformer Instructor to lead reformer-based classes for our members. You will deliver structured, safe sessions while guiding proper form and breathing techniques to improve strength and flexibility.

Responsibilities include customizing workouts for various levels, setting up equipment, sanitizing gear, and promoting other club services. CPR/AED certification is preferred, and familiarity with Club Automation or GroupX Pro is a plus.

Qualifications

• Pilates Reformer Certification from a recognized organization (e.g., STOTT, Balanced Body, Peak Pilates, BASI).
• Minimum one to two years of teaching Pilates Reformer classes.
• CPR/AED certification preferred or required based on club policy.
• Working knowledge of fitness industry software (Club Automation, GroupX Pro) is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, structured Pilates Reformer classes for members.
• Educate members on form, breathing, and muscle engagement for maximum benefit.
• Provide modifications and progressions for different fitness levels.
• Arrive early to set up equipment and stay after class to engage with members.
