Job summary

Club Pilates South Salem is seeking Certified Pilates Instructors for a West Salem opening. You will lead reformer-focused classes using Balanced Body equipment and other apparatus, delivering energetic, safe workouts for all levels.

We value punctual, motivational instructors with strong client interaction and a commitment to ongoing education. Flexible hours and a supportive studio environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Certified Pilates instructor with comprehensive certification from listed programs.
• Experience teaching 5+ participants in apparatus-based group classes.
• Willing to engage in continued education and workshops.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide Pilates group reformer classes to studio standards.
• Instruct clients using a variety of equipment for a safe, creative experience.
• Offer private, semi-private, demo or other sessions as needed.
• Maintain equipment and ensure a clean workout environment.
• Greet students and assist with check-ins; be motivating and inspiring.

Requirements

Comprehensive Pilates Certification Through One of the Following Programs:

• Club Pilates Teacher Training Program
• STOTT (must have Level 1(Intensive) and Level 2(Advanced))
• BASI
• Polestar
• Peak Pilates (must have Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3)
• Power Pilates (must have Core Mat I, Core Mat II, Apparatus I, Apparatus II and Apparatus III)
• Ron Fletcher
• Equinox
• Balanced Body (Mat and Reformer Level 1, 2 and 3, Chair/Tower/Barrels 1 Level)
• The Pilates Center
• PMA

Other Requirements:

• Must have an energetic, positive, and motivational teaching style.
• Must be able to work at least 6 hours per week.
• Must have experience teaching 5 or more participants in an apparatus-based group class.
• Must have the ability to modify workouts as needed.
• Must have the ability to work harmoniously with management and other instructors.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and dedicated to helping your students\' reach their goals.
• Must be willing to complete continued education trainings or workshops.
• Must be willing to learn club management software (e.g., Club Ready).
• Must be willing to attain and maintain an up-to-date CPR and First Aid certificate.

Responsibilities

Hours and Compensation

Pay: $30.00 - $54.00 per hour depending on experience. Base rate is $15/hour for every hour spent in the studio (training, events, class preparation, equipment setup). Class bonus is an additional $15 for every class taught. Participant commission is an additional $4 for each participant after the 6th.

Hours Needed

• Flexible shifts between 5:30 am - 8:30 pm.
• 6–30 hours per week
• Studio is open 7 days a week
