Job summary

The St. Paul Eastside YMCA is seeking a nationally certified Pilates Instructor who will lead engaging classes and help members move, feel, and live better at White Bear Lake location.

You will teach Pilates apparatus and private/small-group sessions, promote member participation, and maintain safety while delivering an exceptional member experience. CPR/AED certification is required; salary starts at $25 per hour with benefits for full-time and flexible scheduling for part-time roles.

Qualifications

• CPR/PR and AED certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead individual or group Pilates sessions and motivate participants.
• Experience working with all age groups and ability levels.
• Nationally accredited Pilates training (Balanced Body, Stott, Polestar, Club Pilates, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, engaging Pilates classes for all experience levels.
• Create welcoming, inclusive environment and build member relationships.
• Promote private and small-group training opportunities.
• Maintain class attendance and time sheets; coordinate substitutions and availability.
• Stay CPR certified and current with credentials and continuing education (CECs).
