Job summary

BODYBAR Pilates is seeking an enthusiastic Instructor to lead Pilates-based group classes across our studios. You will teach according to the BODYBAR method, ensure safety, and create a welcoming energy for every client.

A passion for health and fitness, solid communication, and basic anatomy knowledge help you succeed. Prior BODYBAR training or pilates experience is preferred; completion of the BODYBAR Instructor Training Program is required.

Qualifications

• A passion for health, fitness, and exercise.
• Strong communication skills with clients.
• Knowledge of basic anatomy helpful for safe movement.
• Prior Pilates or fitness experience preferred but not required.
• Must complete the Comprehensive BODYBAR Pilates Instructor Training Program, including passing apparatus tests.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and demonstrate knowledge of BODYBAR’s method, mission, vision, and goals.
• Design and instruct BODYBAR-based group classes that are safe and effective for all levels.
• Educate participants on proper and safe exercise form.
• Answer client questions about movement considerations, studio policies, and promotions.
• Secure subs for all assigned classes; manage substitutions and open classes.
• Create community at the studio through engagement with members before, during, and after class.
