Job summary

BODYBAR Pilates - Pleasant Hill and Brentwood is hiring an instructor after successfully completing our BODYBAR Pilates Instructor Training. The role involves leading Pilates-based group classes, upholding the BODYBAR teaching formula, and delivering a positive fitness experience to clients under supervision of the Owner or Fitness Manager.

Ideal candidates bring a passion for health and wellness, strong communication, and a willingness to learn the BODYBAR method.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of basic anatomy is preferred.
• Passion for health, fitness, and exercise is essential.
• Prior Pilates or Group Fitness experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and demonstrate knowledge of BODYBAR’s method, mission, vision, and goals.
• Design and instruct Pilates-based group fitness classes that are safe and effective for all fitness levels.
• Educate participants on proper and safe exercise form.
• Respond to client questions regarding studio policies and promotions.
• All teachers are responsible for securing subs for all assigned classes in a timely manner.
• Create community at the studio through engagement with members before, during, and after class.
