Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Garden City, NY is seeking an experienced Pilates Instructor to support members by delivering safe, effective Pilates programming and exceptional service.

You will design and lead private and group sessions, monitor form, advance member goals, and promote related fitness offerings while maintaining a welcoming studio environment. Life Time values a certified professional who stays current on trends, delivers outstanding customer service, and contributes to a collaborative team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of personal training experience.
• Certified Pilates Trainer with reformer, tower, chair and barrel training.
• CPR and AED certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional client programs to drive goal achievement and retention.
• Monitors and instructs clients during Pilates sessions on equipment safety and efficiency.
• Conducts fitness consultations including pre-participation screening and goal setting.
• Instructs private and group Pilates classes.
• Promotes Pilates training programs, classes and personal training to members.
• Completes administrative requirements for each client's fitness plan.
• Maintains cleanliness of the Pilates studio.
• Stays current on certifications and industry trends.
• Educates members on health and fitness issues and trends.
• Provides superior customer service and programming support to all members.
