Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Garland, TX is seeking a Certified Pilates Trainer to develop safe, professional client programs and instruct private and group Pilates classes. You will monitor clients during sessions, assess goals, and help drive client achievement while upholding Life Time Brand standards.

Responsibilities include pre-participation screening, class promotion, maintaining studio cleanliness, and staying current with certifications and trends in health and fitness.

Qualifications

• Experience in Pilates program design.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds.
• High School Diploma or GED.

• Promotes and sells Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes and Personal Training to members.
• Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the Pilates studio.
• Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry.
• Educates members on current health and fitness issues and trends.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education

Years of Experience

• 1 year of personal training experience
• 6 months of experience in adjusting body alignment, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel equipment

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations

• Certified Pilates Trainer
• CPR and AED Certified

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related field
