Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking an energetic Pilates Instructor to design and lead private and group Pilates sessions, guide clients toward fitness goals, and promote programs. You will assess clients, ensure safe equipment use, and keep the studio clean and current with trends.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of personal training experience with Pilates equipment, and CPR/AED certification. A related college degree is preferred. This position is on-site at Life Time clubs.

Qualifications

• Experience in Pilates program design.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds.
• CPR and AED certified.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional Pilates programs for clients to achieve goals and retain clients.
• Instructs private and group Pilates classes.
• Monitors clients during Pilates training for safe/effective use of equipment.
• Conducts fitness consultations including goal setting to tailor Pilates training.
• Promotes and sells Pilates programs and classes to members.
• Completes administrative tasks for each client’s fitness plan.
• Maintains Pilates studio cleanliness and organization.
• Keeps current with certifications and industry trends.
• Educates members on health and fitness issues.

Position Summary

Pilates Instructors are responsible for supporting all members in championing happier, and healthier lives by building and nurturing relationships. They provide a positive member experience that is educational, supporting, and upholds the integrity of the Life Time Brand.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention
• Instructs both private and group Pilates classes
• Monitors and instructs clients during Pilates training sessions on the safe and effective use the equipment
• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programs
• Promotes and sells Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes and Personal Training to members
• Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan
• Maintains the cleanliness of the Pilates studio
• Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry
• Educates members on current health and fitness issues and trends

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Experience in Pilates program design
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Years of Experience

• 1 year of personal training experience
• 6 months of experience in adjusting body alignment, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel equipment

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations

• Certified Pilates Trainer
• CPR and AED Certified

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related field
