Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Pilates Instructor in Castle Pines, CO to support members in achieving healthier lives through personalized and group Pilates programs. You will build relationships, deliver educational experiences, and uphold Life Time Brand integrity.

You will design client programs, instruct classes, and promote related fitness offerings while maintaining studio cleanliness and staying current on certifications and trends.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs.
• Instructs private and group Pilates classes.
• Monitors clients during training for safe use of equipment.

• Promotes Pilates training programs, Group Fitness, and Personal Training.
• Completes administrative requirements for each client’s fitness plan.
• Maintains Pilates studio cleanliness.
• Stays current on certifications and trends.
• Educates members on health and fitness topics.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention
• Instructs both private and group Pilates classes
• Monitors and instructs clients during Pilates training sessions on the safe and effective use the equipment
• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programs
• Promotes and sells Pilates training programs and classes, Group Fitness classes and Personal Training to members
• Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan
• Maintains the cleanliness of the Pilates studio
• Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry
• Educates members on current health and fitness issues and trends

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Experience in Pilates program design
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, kneel and lift up to 50 pounds

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Years of Experience

• 1 year of personal training experience
• 6 months of experience in adjusting body alignment, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, and Barrel equipment

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations

• Certified Pilates Trainer
• CPR and AED Certified

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or other related field

Pay

This position will be paid commissions between 10% and 60% depending on the product and the Team Member\'s productivity. The weekly minimum pay for the position will be at least applicable minimum wage for each hour worked.
