Qualifications

• Holds current full apparatus Pilates Certification with 450 hours of experience or equivalent.
• Experience teaching group classes in a studio setting.
• Shows ability to demonstrate effective group reformer instruction.
• Maintains energetic, positive, and motivational teaching style.
• Uses a contemporary approach to classical Pilates exercises.
• Reliable, punctual and dedicated to client care.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Familiar with club management software or quick to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide Pilates group reformer classes per Club Pilates standards.
• Instruct up to 12 clients per class with proper form and safety.
• Conduct private, semi-private, or demo sessions as needed.
• Visually inspect equipment before classes and ensure safety.
• Maintain a clean, orderly workout environment.
• Be a motivating force to promote ‘Do Pilates. Do Life.’

Position Summary

The Pilates Instructor delivers safe, effective, and inspiring group classes in alignment with Club Pilates standards and teaching methodology. This role fosters a welcoming and empowering environment for members of all levels while upholding the highest standards of form, safety, and client care. Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to)

• Providing Pilates group reformer classes pursuant to Club Pilates standards
• Instructing clients (up to 12 clients per class) using proper form and safe methods on a variety of equipment including, but not limited to, Reformer, Springboard, Exo-Chair, hand weights, etc. to ensure a safe, yet creative experience
• Conducting private, semi-private, demo or other additional sessions as needed
• Visually inspecting the equipment prior to each class to ensure it is in good working order and safe to use
• Maintaining a clean and orderly workout environment
• Being a motivating and inspiring force to promote our motto: Do Pilates. Do Life.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience teaching group classes
• Current full apparatus Pilates Certification with 450 hours of experience or equivalent
• Ability to demonstrate effective group reformer instruction
• Energetic, positive and motivational teaching style
• Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises
• Punctual, reliable and dedicated
• Focus on customer service, including professional and effective communication skills
• Experience with club management software and/or the ability to learn new systems
