Job summary

US Fitness in Brambleton, VA is seeking a confident Pilates Instructor (Reformer) to deliver premium small-group reformer classes and 1:1 sessions. You will coach with precision, create an exceptional studio experience, and help members stay consistent to drive results and retention.

You'll execute a structured reformer programming system with consistency and high-level delivery, focusing on member goals, safety, and on-going revenue growth through engagement and service expansion.

Qualifications

• Certified Pilates Instructor (Reformer) certification required.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Experience teaching group fitness and/or small-group training.

Responsibilities

• Lead small-group reformer classes with energy, precision, and control.
• Deliver standardized class formats as designed.
• Provide clear cueing and hands-on corrections.
• Ensure safe movement options for all levels.
• Build relationships to support consistency and retention.
• Promote 1:1 Pilates sessions and semi-private training.

Pilates Instructor (Reformer) - Small Group & 1:1 Sessions

We're looking for a confident, member-focused Pilates Instructor to deliver premium reformer classes and 1:1 sessions. You'll coach with precision, create an exceptional studio experience, and help members stay consistent-driving results, retention, and program growth.

As a Pilates Instructor, you'll deliver a premium reformer class and 1:1 Pilates experience that drives measurable results, strengthens retention, and supports revenue growth. You'll execute a structured programming system with precision and consistency-this role focuses on delivering the program at a high level (not designing it).

What You'll Do

Class Delivery & Coaching

• Lead small-group reformer classes with energy, precision, and control.
• Deliver standardized class formats as designed.
• Provide clear, effective cueing and appropriate hands-on corrections.
• Ensure safe, effective movement options for all levels.

Member Experience & Engagement

• Create a welcoming, inclusive, premium studio environment.
• Build relationships that support consistency and retention.
• Learn and use member names; understand goals and limitations.
• Maintain high energy and professionalism in every class.

Revenue & Growth Support

• Spot opportunities to match members with additional services that support their goals, including:
• 1:1 Pilates sessions
• Semi-private training
• Reinforce the value of All-Access membership through engagement and retention.
• Promote the benefits of structured programming and consistency.

Studio Operations

• Maintain studio cleanliness and ensure equipment is class-ready.
• Complete daily equipment checks and promptly report issues.
• Track attendance and participation accurately.
• Follow all booking, check-in, and capacity protocols.

Safety & Compliance

• Adhere to all safety standards and protocols.
• Maintain current CPR/AED certification.
• Follow incident-reporting procedures.

Requirements

• Certified Pilates Instructor (reformer certification required).
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Experience teaching group fitness and/or small-group training.

Nice to Have

• Apparatus training in Reformer, Tower, and Mat
• 60-400-hour comprehensive Pilates certification (Mat, Reformer, Tower, Chair).
• Experience working in a structured programming environment.
• Sales and/or client conversion experience.
• Background in personal training or fitness instruction.
