Job summary

TotalMed RN in Worcester, MA seeks a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) travel RN for 13 weeks of work. The position requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and includes 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

You will perform critical pediatric care and collaborate with a broader medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role is travel-based with a tax-free stipend and benefits package; BLS/PALS are required and additional certifications may be needed before starting.

Qualifications

• BLS and PALS certifications required.
• 2 years of pediatric critical care or ICU experience.
• Previous travel RN experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes.
• Manage ICU monitors (EKG, O2 sats) and report alterations.
• Assist with IV starts, dressings, and line placements as needed.
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists and families.
