Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel PICU RN for a 14-week assignment in Aurora, CO. You will provide advanced pediatric critical care, assess patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Required is 1 year PICU experience, current RN license, and BLS; PALS/ENPC certification is also required. The role includes 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, and travel benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of PICU RN experience required.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification current (AHA/ARC).
• PALS or ENPC certification required.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to pediatric patients and families to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Administer medications and treatments per pediatric nursing protocols.
• Operate and monitor ventilators, central lines, and hemodynamic monitors with physician support.
• Observe patient conditions and promptly report critical changes to the care team.
• Document history, assessments, and treatments accurately in medical records.
