TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Seattle, Washington. This role requires 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and offers a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on a night shift.

The PICU RN will monitor critical pediatric patients, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and perform procedures such as IV starts and vent management, all while prioritizing patient safety and family communication.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' recent acute care experience.
• BLS and PALS certifications required or equivalent.
• PICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pediatric patients' vital signs and respond to changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and families to coordinate care.
• Perform tasks such as IV starts, line placements, and dressing changes.
• Operate PICU equipment including ventilators as needed.
