• Monitor vital signs and act on changes promptly.
• Follow cardiac/respiratory monitors and report changes.
• Change dressings, start IVs and insert catheters as needed.
• Monitor specialized equipment such as ventilators.
• Assist physician during exams and procedures, including life-saving situations.
• Support with CV catheters, arterial lines and endotracheal tubes.
