American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Pediatric ICU position in Bakersfield, CA. The role requires CA RN licensure, BLS and PALS, with a minimum of two years in PICU and experience managing ventilators.

Assignment details include 12-hour night shifts, a 36-hour work week, and a 13-week duration. The travel nurse will work in an 8-bed PICU, with occasional floating to general pediatrics and burn units as needed.

Formación

• Active California RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Pediatric ICU experience.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Care for pediatric patients in an 8-bed PICU within an acute care hospital.
• Manage patients with respiratory failure, dehydration, seizures, overdoses and ventilated support.
• Maintain 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio with periodic float to general pediatrics and burn units.
