Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct and indirect patient care in a collaborative, evidence-based environment. The RN will apply the nursing process autonomously and mentor other health care team members.

The role emphasizes patient rights, dignity and comfort, with duties including coordinating care and ensuring a safe, clean care environment across the unit.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• No previous experience required.
• Preferred: 2-5 years’ experience as RN.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Clinical Nurse (RN) is fundamental in achieving recognized world-class health care.
• Assumes direct and indirect responsibility for the patient's care environment.
• The primary responsibility is providing care through collaboration with health care team members and the autonomous application of the nursing process.
• Also provides leadership, mentoring and role modeling for other members of the health care team.
• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordination and delegation of care in a safe, secure and clean environment.
• Care provided displays respect for the patient’s rights, dignity, values, confidentiality and expressed needs.
