Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel PICU RN for the Pediatric ICU/CCU in Madera, CA. The nurse will care for critically ill pediatric patients, coordinate with the Critical Care team, and ensure high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires an active RN license, 1–3 years ICU/ PICU/CCU experience, and ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications preferred. Strong teamwork and crisis leadership are essential, with benefits including weekly pay and comprehensive coverage.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing in state of practice
• 1-3 years ICU/CCU/PICU or emergency medicine required
• Successful completion of Amergis Staffing Solutions testing process
• Prefers ACLS, PALS, NRP certification
• CEU requirements for the state of practice
• Demonstrates leadership in a crisis situation
• Demonstrates clinical competence specific to intensive care
• Demonstrates ability to address growth and development needs of pediatric patients
• Demonstrates teamwork in a fast-paced environment
• Full range of body motion; daily duties with interruptions
• 1-3 years complex job related experience
• PALS, BLS, and ACLS as required
• Must be at least 18 years of age

The Pediatric ICU/CCU RN is a member of the Critical CareDepartment and manages patients with multi- system failure and a variety oflife-threatening illnesses. ThePediatric ICU/CCU nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for assignedpatients and is responsible to the Clinical Manager or client facilitydesignee.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current RN license in good standing in state of practice
• One year recent experience in ICU, CCU, PICU, NICU oremergency medicine required
• Successful completion of Amergis Staffing Solutions testingprocess
• Prefers evidence of ACLS, PALS, NRP certification
• Shows evidence of CEU requirements for the state of practice
• Demonstrates the ability to assume a leadership role in acrisis situation
• Demonstrates clinical competence specific to intensive care
• Demonstrates the ability to work with patient growth anddevelopment needs across the specific unit of assignment
• Demonstrates ability to work in a team environment
• Demonstrates a full range of body motion in a regularperformance of duties on a daily basis
• Must be able to work with frequent interruptions
• 1-3 years complex job related experience
• PALS, BLS, and ACLS, as required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
