Job summary

Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children in Honolulu, Hawai'i, seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. You will provide patient-centered nursing care, performing assessment, planning, implementation and documentation to support critically ill pediatric patients.

Location is on site with rotating 12-hour shifts, full-time regular employment. Strong teamwork and a commitment to high-quality pediatric care are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Hawai’i Registered Nurse license.
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR card.
• Current Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) CPR card.
• Two years recent RN experience in a critical care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of patient care in PICU.
• Work as an associate to a charge nurse and may assume charge nurse responsibilities.
