The RN Clinical Charge Nurse is responsible for directing and supervising the daily activities of the unit on an assigned shift to ensure the safe delivery of care. This leader acts as a caregiver and coordinates with Nurse Managers and the interdisciplinary team to uphold standards and patient outcomes.

The Charge Nurse participates in staffing, rounds, and governance, applying evidence-based practice and WellStar Core Competencies to promote high-quality care and efficient resource use.
