Job summary

Meijer is looking for a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders efficiently, creating a smooth pickup experience from start to finish. The role emphasizes excellent service, accuracy, and friendly customer interactions.

You will greet customers, verify items, and coordinate with leadership to resolve issues while maintaining curbside area cleanliness and readiness for the next order.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, standing) for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers with a courteous, friendly attitude in person and on the phone.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders during the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify products, and bag items according to standards.
• Store and stage orders while following food safety guidelines.
• Keep curbside area clean and ready for the next pickup.
• Support other tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do

As a Digital Clerk, you'll help drive customer loyalty and satisfaction by shopping their orders quickly and accurately, creating an easy pickup experience from start to finish.

You'll:

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup Meijer Pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection the carside experience
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift
• Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items appropriately using bagging standards
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

In short: you'll turn online orders into easy, reliable, 'right-on-time' pickups.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way
• Past online ordering experience a plus
• You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods
