Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a delivery driver to safely operate company vehicles and complete daily pickup and delivery routes. You will load/unload tires and parts (up to 100 lbs), deliver to customer sites, verify contents, and maintain logs per DOT regulations.

The role requires a clean driving record, ability to pass screenings, and flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior delivery experience is preferred and a strong focus on safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL not required for most PD roles).
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 100 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Previous delivery or route driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Load and unload tires, wheels, and parts — some up to 100 lbs. — using proper safety techniques and equipment.

Deliver products to customer locations in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.

Verify delivery contents and obtain proper signatures and documentation.

Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and daily driver logs as required by DOT regulations.

Assist with inventory organization, stocking, and cycle counts as needed.

Support service technicians by transporting tires to/from service calls or jobsites.

Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
