Job summary

OWA in Foley, AL is seeking a Pickleball Team Member to support day-to-day operations at our sports complex. You will take reservations, schedule meets, assist guests at the front desk, and help maintain a welcoming, safe environment for players and visitors.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, being at least 18, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds. You should be comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays, with basic cash handling and POS

Job description

Reporting to the Sports and Games Managerial staff, the Pickleball Team Member is responsible for the day-to-day operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take reservations and schedule meets
• Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of courts
• Maintain inventory of concessions and retail items
• Deliver high level of customer service when working at the front desk, answering calls, and assisting guests
• Handle payment transactions and deposit receipts
• Register players

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years old

Customer relations and front desk experience preferred

Point-of-Sale register and cash handling experience preferred

Capable of multi-tasking and working independently

Must have a valid state issued driver’s license with a reliable means of transportation

Open to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Ability to lift 20 pounds unassisted and 30 pounds assisted

Able to work in sunny, hot, humid, cold, and rainy conditions

Willing to work in a smoke, tobacco, and drug-free workplace
