YMCA of Delaware is seeking a part-time Program Specialist Pickleball at the Brandywine YMCA Family Location in Wilmington, DE. You will design, organize, and teach pickleball sessions for diverse adults, emphasizing safety and inclusive participation.

The role involves planning lessons, guiding participants of all levels, and promoting the sport within a supportive community, with opportunities for professional growth and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve a diverse community.
• Experience in planning, organizing, and implementing sports programs (1–2 years).
• Knowledge of safety protocols and risk management in sports.

Responsibilities

• Design, organize, and deliver pickleball lessons for beginners to advanced players.
• Teach proper serving, rallying, scoring, and doubles/ singles strategies.
• Tailor lessons to skill levels and provide progressions and adjustments as needed.
• Demonstrate drills and techniques to improve performance and ensure safety and enjoyment.
