Job summary

Life Time seeks a dedicated pickleball instructor to teach private lessons and group programs on a high-volume on-court schedule. You will coordinate leagues and mixers, fostering player development and a positive, member-centric experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, demonstrates, and instructs students during pickleball lessons on techniques and strategies; on-court teaching ~30+ hours/week.
• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive pickleball lessons and progression pathways.
• Creates exceptional member experiences by involving members with programs, tournaments, and events, ensuring facilities/equipment are clean and well-maintained.
• Participates in system-wide sales effort with Membership Advisors and Member Activities; attends pickleball-related meetings.
• Contributes to overall club operations and aligns with Life Time brand and goals.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Monitors, demonstrates, and instructs students during pickleball lessons on proper techniques, tactics, and strategies to improve their overall pickleball game. Personally teaches on court on average 30+ hours per week.
• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive pickleball lessons and programs to ensure students develop along a pathway that will encourage continued involvement and a positive Net Promoter Score.
• Creates exceptional member experiences by involving members with programs, tournaments, and special events, fully utilizing available marketing support and tools, and ensures the pickleball facilities and equipment used for pickleball are clean, organized and in good working condition.
• Participates in the system wide sales effort with Membership Advisors and Member Activities, ensuring pickleball is an integral component of the Life Time brand. Attends specific meetings related to pickleball.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations

• Within 6 months of hire must completed one of the following certifications: International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) and/or Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR)

Preferred

• CPR and AED Certified
