Job summary

TGA Sports is launching a pickleball coaching program in the community, offering an enthusiastic coach the chance to grow hours, locations, and leadership as the program expands.

The role focuses on teaching pickleball to kids after school, with potential to add tennis and golf hours. Strong sports background and reliability are essential, with a fun, team-driven approach to youth development.

Qualifications

• Strong sports background with general sports knowledge.
• Reliable transportation; programs run at local schools and parks.
• Effective communication with children and parents.
• Punctual; classes after school in the afternoons.

Responsibilities

• Teach pickleball to kids after school and create a fun learning environment.
• Adapt activities for different skill levels and abilities.
• Maintain equipment and kit bags; ensure safety and organization.
• Update class rosters and complete student progress reports.
• Collaborate with the team and support program expansion.

We're officially launching pickleball and looking for an enthusiastic, reliable coach to help us build something special from the ground up — with real opportunity to grow hours, locations, and leadership as the program expands.

What we're looking for:

• Pickleball experience (teaching or playing)
• Comfortable working with kids
• Positive, energetic, and dependable
• Excited about growing pickleball in the community

Nice to have (or willing to obtain):

• PPR (Professional Pickleball Registry) Certification
• Pickleball Certification through the Racquet Sports Professionals Association (RSPA)

While this role is specifically for pickleball, there's also opportunity to teach tennis and/or golf for candidates who have those skills and want additional hours.
