Job summary

Vistar is seeking a Picking Department Lead to oversee safe and efficient selection, palletizing, and staging within the warehouse. You will guide the team, provide work instructions, and help train staff in the Picking Department.

Role requires 2 years of warehouse experience, ability to lift heavy loads, and proficiency with RF equipment and powered pallet jacks. Shifts are 5:00 AM start, Monday through Thursday.

Qualifications

• 2 years of warehouse experience minimum.
• Must be able to work the scheduled, assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing 10-35 lbs and generally up to 60-90 lbs depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer and dry.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Experience using Microsoft Suite.
• Reach truck, Order Picker, Dock Stocker, and Electric Pallet Jack Experience.

• Safely operates power material handling equipment to accurately select, palletize, and or stage Warehouse Equipment or Supplies for necessary warehouse functions for the picking Department.
• Assists Supervisor in providing guidance, work instructions, and training within the Picking Department.
• 4 10 Hour shifts starting at 0500 Monday - Thursday
