Job summary

Cibo Vita in Totowa, NJ seeks a Picker to join our food production team. You will pack on the assembly line, label packages with weight and product information, and place boxes on pallets or hand carts. You will stock the station and pull defective products from the line.

Ideal candidates have basic math and strong communication, with the stamina to stand long shifts in a noisy environment and lift up to 50 lbs. Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• MHE license is required.

Responsibilities

• Collect materials using work orders.
• Deliver materials to assigned machines.
• Move finished goods pallets to staging/shipping.
• Return unused materials to warehouse.
• Operate electric pallet jack or forklift if trained.
• Document inventory movements in the system.
• Check codes, expiry dates, lot numbers, and quantities.

Job Summary

Our food production company is seeking a Picker to join our team. In this role, you will pack food on the assembly line, label packages with weight and product information, and place the boxes on a pallet jack or hand cart. You will also stock your station with the materials you need for your shift and pull products that look defective. The main qualifications include basic math and communication skills, the ability to keep up with our assembly line, and the physical stamina to stand for long periods of time in an area with moderate noise and temperature levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect materials using work orders
• Deliver materials to assigned machines
• Move finished goods pallets to staging/shipping
• Return unused materials to warehouse
• Operate electric pallet jack or forklift (if trained/licensed)
• Document inventory movements in system
• Check codes, expiry date, lot and quantity accuracy

Hiring Requirements

• Ability to stand for 8–10+ hour shifts and lift up to 50 lbs
• Experience working with manufacturing systems desirable (1-2 years)
