Job summary

Meijer Inc. is hiring a Digital Clerk to fulfill online curbside orders and create a smooth pickup experience. You’ll work to ensure quick, accurate order fulfillment and friendly customer interactions.

You don’t need to know everything on day one; Meijer will train you. A focus on service, attention to detail, and reliability will help you grow within our family-focused team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
• Past cashier experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
• Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures efficiently.
• Past online ordering experience a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, standing) for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide remarkable curbside pickup service through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
• Greet customers with a courteous attitude in person and on the phone.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
• Receive daily workflow and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
• Select items, scan/verify, and bag items according to standards.
• Store and stage orders following food safety guidelines.
• Keep curbside area clean and ready for next pickup.
• Support additional tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

This position will be responsible for fulfilling a customer’s online curbside order. Deliver convenience: one pickup at a time. At Meijer, we’re more than a retailer. What You’ll Do

As a Digital Clerk, you’ll help drive customer loyalty and satisfaction by shopping their orders quickly and accurately, creating an easy pickup experience from start to finish.

• Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup Meijer Pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection the carside experience
• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership
• Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed
• Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift
• Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items appropriately using bagging standards
• Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines
• Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
