Job summary

The Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers is seeking a full-time delivery driver in the Springfield, IL area. The role entails pickup and delivery of tires and related products between CTSC locations and customers, along with maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, completing delivery documentation, and adhering to safety rules. A valid driver's license and ability to lift heavy items are required; CDL qualifications may apply as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle required and meet CDL qualifications.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities are expected.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and lengthy periods of standing.

Responsibilities

• Handle pickup and delivery of new and retreaded tires, casings, and related items between CTSC locations and customers.
• Maintain customer relationships and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with loading/unloading tires and related products, following safety rules and procedures.
• Complete documentation for deliveries (e.g., DOT logs).
• Provide Service Excellence to meet location and customer goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned and handle manual tasks as needed.

The starting pay for this position is $17.97/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Responsibilities

• All aspects of pickup and delivery of new and retreaded commercial tires, casings and other types of tire pickup and delivery between Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers locations,customersand Goodyear dealers.
• Maintaincustomerrelationships including building and maintainingcustomersatisfaction.
• Assist with loading and unloading commercial tires, casings, wheels, mounted wheel assemblies and related products while following all safety rules and procedures.
• Responsible for documentation completion with delivery.
• Provide"Service Excellence - Always" to meet the service goals of the location and ofcustomers.
• Keep all documents and maintenance records up to date on equipment assigned,e.g.,DOTLog.
• Perform anyadditionalduties asassignedby management.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including commercial tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting

Basic Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license for the type of vehicle required for the position and be able to meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
• Must beat least 21 years of age.
• No relocation is being offered for this position
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous delivery driving experience
