Job summary

Dynamic Access LLC in Austin, TX seeks a PICC RN/ Vascular Access Specialist to provide expert vascular access services at client facilities, aligning with state licensing and company guidelines. You will perform bedside PICC insertions, peripheral IVs, and port access, educate patients, ensure documentation, and maintain portable ultrasound usage across diverse settings.

ACLS and BCLS certifications are required, with driving between client facilities as part of the role.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice is required.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications are required.
• Experience with PICC, midline and peripheral IV insertions preferred.
• Competency in vascular access procedures and patient education will be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform bedside PICC insertions and peripheral IV placements.
• Establish and manage vascular access devices including midlines and ports.
• Assess and document patient status related to vascular access.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and care plans.
• Maintain compliance with client and company policies on documentation.

The job of PICC RN/ Vascular Access Specialist was established for the purpose/s of providing expert

vascular access services to the patients of our clients. Working within the guidelines set forth by the state

in which these employees are licensed and also working within the guidelines set forth by the Company,

the PICC RN/ Vascular Access Specialist will maintain a high level of professionalism and skill.

Responsibilities

Vascular Access

• Bedside insertion of peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs).
• Bedside insertion of midlines and extended dwell catheters.
• Bedside insertion of peripheral IV catheters.
• Establishing access via intravascular ports.
• Examination, assessment and evaluation of patients with vascular access devices.

Education

• Educates all patients and family members on the procedures to be completed.
• Answers any questions regarding procedures to be done.
• Educates staff when necessary.

Documentation

• Clearly documents procedures completed as per client policy and per the policy of the Company.
• Current RN license in the state in which the employee is working.
• Current ACLS and BCLS certifications.
• Completed vascular access competency skills checklist.

This job operates in a wide variety of environments ranging through all types of healthcare facilities.

Driving from client facility to client facility may account for a large part of the usual workday. This
