Job summary

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced piano teacher to join Rochester Academy of Music in Rochester, MN. This part-time, in-person role welcomes teachers who can instruct up through advanced levels and maintain a reliable teaching schedule.

Successful candidates will hold a degree in music performance or pedagogy (or equivalent performing experience), enjoy teaching young musicians, and demonstrate punctuality and reliable transportation. A routine background check will be required.

About the Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking fun, experienced, and professional piano teacher to teach part-time at Rochester Academy of Music, our SW Minneapolis location. We are looking for teachers who will instruct IN PERSON! Candidates able to teach up through advanced levels are preferred.

Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability.

Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.

Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $25-$30/hour. Health benefits options and a 401K with employer match are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble after 30 days of employment.

Pay: $25-$30.00 per hour
